I had a commodore 64 once and I had this game. Anyone else remember this game.

http://screenmania.retrogames.com/c64/01/c64_0025.html Way before the sims.

Nope. Had a commodore, but we had only 1 or 2 games. I was only 2 or 3 anyway.

I had one game, strip poker.

I've never seen or heard of this game, but it looks fun. The original Sims right there! Take that Will!

You had to feed your person, and the dog lol, and when he would get sick, he would type you a letter telling you about it or if he was happy he would tell you about that as well. And he could make fire in the fire place and read the paper and he would play games with you. You also had to make sure he had supplies. Has he got sick he would turn color and frown lol, was loads of fun, I would let it play for days. Was good times..

I liked it. I wish I could find it again so I could play it once more just for old times sake.

Well, I don't think it's illegal based on the ease of it (no disclaimer things and I didn't have to try; just googled C64) so here it is. You probably will need an emulator, but I'm not going to look for it now. This talk has made me want to go back into TS2 right now.
