Survival Plan.

Hello, Im Here To Ask You Guys To Post what your plan would be (and please be serious not that grab a gun and kick ass bullshit) if you guys had to survive a zombie invasion. Ill post mine in a minute.

Okey.
Step 1: I live in a meduim sized town so i first would grab as much food as i could get from my home and put in into my king cab dodge truck.
Step 2: I work at a gun shop (tonysgunshop) so i would go down there grab some guns and ammo ( i have a store key

) and also load that into the back of the truck and keep a desert egeal with me.
Step 3: Head south, There are Cabins in the woods and each one is spread about half a mile from eachother.
Step 4: ( also yes im traveling aloan ) i would unpack all the food and guns into the cabin.
step 5: (zombies wont be out south in the woods for awhile) ill take my pistol and try to find a source of water ( lake,stream,river)
Final step: camp out at the cabins untill i have no food leaveing me with no option but to head back to town and see whats happened and try to find food/help/ammo and hopefully make it back to the cabin.
Repeat>step 3,4,5

I live on the outskirts of a small city in country WA (Western Australia).

My house always has a large amount of canned goods so we would be set for at least a few weeks.

I would load one of the Utes with supplies (Swag, tent, food, torches, batteries, etc) and when the first zombie cam within site I would get straight onto the highway (~500km with nothing but a few towns with no more than ~1000-3000 people) and get to a roadhouse (petrol station with more food and stuff, several of them are over 50km from nearest town/residence) and hole up nearby in an open field. This gives me a nearby source of food and allows me to have a long distance view to see any threats.

I could go into more detail but that will do for now.

Finally someone with character. AC3? Hmm, you don't use to play on Warishellgaming servers did you?

Ok survival plan... hmm well my first response after Im done laughing at what I thought first was a cheap joke, I would get into a car and move my ass to the center of the a big city. Just listen to the rest before you go "Idiot!"

Step 1: Ditch the Shit heap of the car you drove to get to the city, now covered in zombie parts, blood, and a leaky radiator, and get into a nice Chevy 4 by 4 with plenty of cab space.
Step 1: Section A: Look for Survivors on the way
Step 1: Section B: Keep an eye out for Cop Uniforms it usually comes with Ammo and a gun, Nightstick, Flashlight, Batteries, and Kevlar.
Step 2: Find a Structurally Sound Building next to other buildings with easy access via a Skywalk, or Rope or Makeshift Bridge Building (After you find a Engineer).
Step 2: Section A: Once you have found the building stop at a 7-11 get a map, and make sure you highlight as you look for a Backup Plan Building, One with Almost no access from other buildings, and very high to the sky with a indented roof not a cone like the Empire State.
Step 2: Section A: Reason: Every Plan should have a backup, and a Indented Roof means you can get up on the roof pitch a tent and close the hatch and your safe til they learn to climb.
Step 3: Survey the area, Yes be aware zombies are walking around, be aware that a 4by4 can run them over, and still go the distance. Find easy access to Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Convient Stores, Sporting Good Stores, and must all be connected via sewers or underground tunnels.
Step 4: Ammunation Time! Get Ammo, lots of it, that big ol 4by4 can take whatever you want a ton of $hit as the commericial said so I'd take that offer easily.
Step 4: Section A: Make sure to equip your survivors properly, Nerds, equip with guns that dont spray or cause a lot of fast rate of fire damage. First time they pull the trigger your dead along with a lot of zombies. Think, and no playing video games does not give them an edge. Glock 20, or .20 Rifle will suit there needs. Cops, let em find what they want they know what they're looking for, Convicts, uh... you pick up a convict ask him a question first: What were you in for, and remind him that it doesnt really matter now, the gruesomer the better. If he says Murder, he gonna do it again, hopefully with Zombies but if things go bad lets hope he doesnt leave you for Zombie Bait. Plus they're control freaks so make sure to bitch slap him a few times and prove your better than he is or die trying. Sissy Girls, uh... Pepper Spray is always good, but a Squirt Bottle with kerosine or Napalm works wonders in their hands or a Super Soaker. Soldiers, again they know what they want just leave them to their selection. If their officers, remind them who picked them up "CONSTANTLY!" Along with everyone else, having minions is a great way to demoralize someone. Politions, BEEP! Them, just leave him and tell em, this is all your fault. Do you really trust Dick Channey? Average Joe, Shotguns and Semiautomatic rifles work great, Joe Smo, Shotguns, double barrel is available. Wise-asses, Sniper Rifles, they wise-asses for a reason. Smart-Asses Duelies, Prostitutes, uh... they already should be packing protection (ROFL).
Step 5: Get back to the building, Steal the ground floor up and access the situation, Make sure it is no more than 8 - 12 floors high, access whether it was a Office building or a Government Building, Cubical Engineers tend to move slower and arent as brilliant as your average run of the mill zombie.
Step 5: Section 1: If there are zombies after you at this point, put the 4 by 4 through the doors of the building, back end first, and begin to seal it up. "No Turning Back now... unless you want to use the Emergency Exit.
Step 6: Sweep the Building, including the basement, anyone that has the jitters in all that dark on the first, second, and third floor, or anyone with the jitters period will go into the basement and say, Checked! Clear. or I killed 20 Zombies, and forget to remember that we can smell a gun to see if its been fired.
Step 6: Section A: Once you have sweeped the building, sweep the closets, mechanical rooms, and everything that has a door or a crawl space / confine space.
Step 6 Section B: Get rid of Bodies from the top floor, feed the ones out side so their less likely to want to eat you. Now you have a home.
Step 7: Never ever go to the ground floor ever again, use the fire-escape at all times, get a lot of cars with plenty of gas all 4 by 4's by it in the event of a Full Scale Assault.
Step 8: Go to Every Convient Store, Grocery Store, with the most comfindent ones and make sure that your the one guarding the Fire escape back up. Once they get back, plow through the front entrance back end first after you have cleared the Lobby. Get Food, and Food Stuffs, and Remember to send one guy to the nearest Lowe's to get Gardening Stuff. The roof is flat for a reason!
Step 9: Go to every Gas Station, bear in mind Zombies are now flooding the Ground Floor, big deal, you've barricaded the stairs havent you? Cause if you haven't you probably would never have made it to Step 1, Make sure to put a Ring of Fire around the Gas Station, BEFORE! you start filling up gas cans. and have a extinguisher present.
Step 10: Offload all gasoline and fuel via the ground floor, 4 by 4's again crush and plow extremely well. Make sure you have one guy go to Lowe's Again, to get some Generators for the basement that should be clear... Right Jitters?
Step 10: Section 1: Dont fire into the crowd with Vehicles full of Gasoline, Petrolium Products, its not a good thing.
Step 11 - Step 50 Coming soon, my fingers are killing me from all the previous typing, its 1 in the morning, and I need sleep or else I wont be able to write right, right?

Metametheus, judging by the effort and detail in that you are my kinda guy. Sitting up at 1 or 2AM writing about zombies (or Velociraptors; they're the other thing I tend to be paranoid about) is what I do!

Only one thing:
Fire is a bad idea with zombies.
They will not die for a considerable amount of time (shamblers will burn for pretty much as long as they want with not much harm... Infected will die much sooner but still, you don't want flaming zombies).
DO NOT USE NAPALM!!!!!!
Napalm is a sticky goo. A zombie covered in napalm will spread the fire very efficiently. Good and bad thing.
The only thing I would trust to burn zombies is Thermite (which burns at up to 2500 degrees Celsius).

Fire is good for Velociraptors though...

Yes, that's why you only ignite it from a distance (preferably a LONG distance).

Downside to Thermite is that the stuff is too heavy to spread on zombies its best used for an alternate escape plan, like if you want to go down a couple of floors in a building really fast. Thermite is Iron Slag when it burns which is incredibly heavy, hot, and I might also point out very hard to ignite.

Yeah, the ignition is the main problem.
The main use I see for it is if you are going one way away from the zombies you block the path behind you with 2000 degree fire. Melted leg anyone?

I live right outside Cardiff, which is the capital of Wales. Right in the city centre is the prison. I'd hold up there. It's full of food and guns, surrounded by a massive perimeter wall, it has its own supply of electricity and if the zombies get in then it can be locked down. I just gotta hope that all the inmates are locked in their cells when they inevitably turn into zombies, otherwise it'd be the stupidest place in the world to go. If they are in the cells, then all i gotta worry about is the undead prison guards. I'd probably need to pop into a sporting shop to pick up some guns and shit first. After that i'll hold up in the prison until either me or the zombies are all dead. Although, the prison at night would be pretty scary. Also you could put zombies in the cells to experiment on them. However, if there was an outbreak, it would never go to plan. Something would be bound to go wrong.
