Mini-14 Lovers Unite!!!

Anyone else love this little rifle? I find it cool the devs put this ingame instead of a Barret or something like some people want. I mean, tons of people in RL own one of these things so its alot more feasible(lots of people own Ar-15s too so don't start about the m-16) and the fact that its semi auto is good for those close range encounters. Is it a horde stopper? No, but 2 .45s are good backup for when you run into one.

Anyone one else love the Mini?

I would state that it's a decent horde stopper considering that the bullets go through enemies. It just depends on how you use it. In terms of me actually enjoying it? Not so much. I mean, I can dominate with it just fine. But it adds a steady aspect to a game that focuses on haste. Yes you can be decently quick with it, but in terms of overall reaction time, the M16A3 and the XM1014 are much quicker, and can deal with the threat that's in your face much more efficiently than the Ruger Mini-14. Nevertheless, the Mini is amazing for picking off the things that do indeed tear the team apart. I.E., Hunter, Smokers, Boomers, etc. In certain cases, I wouldn't say it a good thing to have against a Tank, seeing as the bullets go through him and you have the likelihood of hitting a teammate. For Witches, heck yes. That Ruger can have them down before they even come close to anyone. So overall, the gun has it's uses. When I use it, I don't mind it. But I believe I tended to use the M16A3 more often though. :P

Mainly I'll use the M16A3 when I'm playing with bots but I'll use the Mini 14 when I'm actually playing with a team so I can give distance support by taking out Boomers, hunters, and smokers who are ahead of the team and for the fact that there is something rewarding by sniping a zombies head and watching it explode!!
