First post, yay!

I'm coming to you here on the mods board because there's been an idea for a nifty little sound set mod circling in my head for a while, without my having the knowhow or equipment to implement it.

If you hadn't guessed from the thread title-

A laughing witch mod.

I'm not talking like your normal laughter here. I mean a quiet sinister giggling where she would be wailing, an malevolent laugh when she would be growling, and a bone-chilling mad cackle when she would be screaming.

Thoughts?

Is there anyone around who has the skill and equipment to do it? I'd try my hand at it, but I lack the equipment to get a nice clear sound and I'm kind of iffy on the skill.

Perhaps an alteration between the crying and the laughter. Make it even more unnerving. Rather than create an entire mod what you can do is simply replace the sound file.

The sound files your looking for are steamapps common, left for dead, left for dead, sound, npc, witch

So the best idea to go about it would be to release a sound pack zipped with the same names therefore, easy extraction and overwrite ability.

My advice, -to supplement my own idea of course- would be to change half of the idle sounds to laughter and leave half the same.

A witch that rick rolls you if you startle her, now THAT would would be awesome

....but, i think laughing witch would be REALLY Creepy,
espesially it cried when you are far from her, than her crying slowly changes to a creepy chaotic laugh.

A Crying/Laughter would scare me to death! Sounds like a neat Idea, if you have someone with a good enough voice to do it.
