It doesn't work that way. Only one person can hold one medic pack.

Yes, but they can give it to another player, if that player is injured, and has no pack of their own.

Heh, Leroy, you seem so sure about something in a game that isn't even out for another few months at least.. Even when its something that has been confirmed otherwise...
If I use my medkit, my friend (let's call him Terry) can give me his medkit.
Now once I've used Terry's , Shirley can give me hers and so on... :/

You don't give it to him, you use it on him.

Then you should hate the player, not the achievement, smart guy.

Leroy, you CAN share your medkits.
And achievements in my opinion are just pointless trophies for those vain enough to need to be able to say "I've got all the achievements".
I mean, wow, congrats mate, you spent five hundred ours playing some RPG to get the "Take 5,000,000 steps" achievement. Does you life feel any better? Or did your girlfriend dump you and your friends reject you?
/rant.

Well, if you think about what Valve is doing with TF2, there IS a point. Not only that, but it gives you goals to reach for in the game. Things to attempt, to give it more life than just playing. Also, unlockables are always fun.
Is see achievements as ways to have more fun. It's great reaching for those hard ones.

I've yet to see an achievement that is "hard". Most that are considered to be hard are simply time consuming (see the gnome achievement in HL2:Ep2).

Let's see you hit 5 enemies with your Ubersaw without missing or dying. It's not easy.
There's also the "protect all buildings" (In the "Protect The Silo" chapter) and I bet that can't be easy either. Not to mention the challenge maps in Portal, the achievements linked to those aren't so easy.

Protecting all the buildings is simple, you just have to know where the Striders come from; again, a matter of time consuming.
The maps in Portal I've yet to look at as I could barely force myself to repeat the same thing again and again so that I could see the whole plot.
And ubersaw? :/

Uh, from what I read I think Leroy knows that everyone has a medkit, I think its the matter of whether you can share them that he's debating...
