^^ As stated, looking for mature people to play with. people who Listen when given advice/directions. People who play as a team, NO 12 year olds who just screw around and run off by themselves. Hmmm yeah. i'm just a 17 y/o High Schooler looking for cool people to play w/ on Expert campaings for achievments and such, and maybe some versus. I'm just really tired of getting in groups, and then having people totally not listen when i try to help them or w/e. TBH, it jsut gets real old. Anyways.... yeah. =)) you can add my GT if you want too, i have been playing L4D alot only recently, even though i've had it since release lol.

I keep getting voted off for being female..(seriously, it's not even about skill, they kick me in lobby) I enjoy playing, have almost all the achievements, but I'm tired of getting killed cause some 14 year old is having more fun teabagging a dead tank than knocking a hunter off me ;P

Yep. I'm 15 as well. I can hold my own (Unless there is a horde coming in my direction on expert...) and actually listen to instructions/warnings unlike random idiots.

Im up for it im 15 years old (Same situation, it really does get Annoying having idiots or immature people) but I Do not have a mic ( Never came with my system and too cheap to get one) though i do listen and coordinate well. my gaming skills in this game make up for it. i may not be the best player aka pro but i know my stuff and know how to play a game and know if someone is getting pwnd by a hunter etc

I definetly feel your pain. I've gotten kicked out in lobby as well for being female, when I am generaly the factor that makes our team win. All the guys I play with are very good, but they will admit to you, that I am just as good, If not better. Being a girl has nothing to do with your skill as a gamer. Although, I have never some across another female who can play the game well, I would really like to. I love my guy friends I play with, but I always feel out numbered. So if you are truely a good player, I'd love to play with you sometime,=.

I get this a lot too. People vote me off even before we begin because apparently being female means I can't play a damn game. Pisses me off like you wouldn't believe.

Though I will give recently I've been a bit suckish. My computer is having major lag issues right now. I think I may need a new video card, but ya know, not having a mic means I can't warn my teammates "Hey, my comp is lagging, don't mind me if I blow."

And the teabagging has to end. I was grabbed by a smoker and not one, but two of the dumbshits I was playing with were FAR more interested in teabagging a witch instead of helping me.

I've found that recently, be it on live or online, all I'm getting are 12 year olds who can't take advice or just want to be a dick and run ahead. Of course it's hysterical when they piss off the tank and are alone, but ya know, I'd still like to get a good team.

not to offend you, or any other Xbox gamers, but havn't you picked the wrong "platform" for playing games with "mature" players?

xbox live is known for their 12 year olds that like to dick around and go solo, or shout in their mics. though most of them stick to halo, still other xbox online games are also riddled with them.

take the pc version,
there you have a much higher chance of meeting competative players, that like cooperation.
though, there is always the chance that you get some kids in your team, but there is what (steam)friends are for, everytime you had a good game, you can add the players, or player if there was only one likable one, to your friends list, and invite them for a game later on.

i love my xbox,
pc might be better, but i prefer the 360. and i get a few kids here and there, but thats why i look for and have a friends list. so i can game with cool people. also people that i enjoy to talk to while im doing it.

dont want to be a jerk, but thats completely wrong. How much live have you played. Because even on halo and other ADD shooters you barely get little kids. You get the occasional 12 or 13 year old but they usually behave themselves. Its the rare few that make the 'everyone on xbox live is 12 and immature' stereotype stick because they are SO annoying it gets blown out of proportion. Plus, if you get kids like that you can just go to a more mature game. Not mature as in content but mature as in thinking, planning. Like Civ or shooter wise Rainbow six. Two shots and you're dead. Or if you want to stick with L4D, play expert. Usually too hard for the littl'uns
