Where would you hide?

I wouldn't hide. If my family was out there, dead or alive, I would try and find them. I wouldn't be able to take it if I knew my family died and there was nothing I could do.

If I was with my family, I would hide in a supermarket. For the obvious reasons. I'd try to find a place with heavy doors.

Hiding is for wussies. I'd go find myself a 12 gauge and go through 5 places, of course stopping in a fortified room with red steel doors protecting it, filled with ammo and supplies. Then on the rooftop of a big hospital I'd call for help and a helicopter will come and take me to heaven (since the pilot was infected and the chopper crashed into hell).

I'd gather up some supplies then go to the local jail, It has doors that are pretty hard to break through and weapons galore in it. Plus armored hummers.

Prision is a bad idea, and weapons galore? Since when? Most prisions really don't have any leathal guns. The jail guards don't even carry weapons with them. Unless you live next to a federal supermax prision, i doubt you would find any guns in there. Besides how would you even get in it? Just walk right in?

And then there's the fact that you're gonna be locked up with hundreds of convicts aswell...

Personally, I'd probably head North to a relatives house.
It can get pretty cold in the North of the country, so that might freeze some of the zombies.
Plus, it's pretty sparsely populated aswell, which would mean it'd be unlikely many zombies would even make it up there.

a farm in the middle of nowhere would probably be your best bet
less people = less zombies
or even no zombies , and you could grow things yourself and what sterotype farmer doesnt have a double barrel shotgun? IF any zombie ever appear'd

Ok First me, I would stay put. I live in a rural area and shouldn't be too much of a worry and wait out and see whats happening. The first couple days of the "outbreak" will be much to choatic and dangerous to venture out in. I have few guns to defend myself from any immediate threat and some food to last for a couple of weeks. i must admit that Mr.G has the right idea about many things, but going out the BACK OF YOUR HOUSE AND TREKKING A MILE THROUGH THE WOODS! have you seen what happens to the people who do that man!

Now, what would i do? i live in Brisbane, not far from Moreton Island. I'd probably take a boat there (as the Marina would be pretty abandoned). I'm also more confident with a Sword than a gun, preferably a katana, as i am quite good at Aikido and practice with a bokken (wooden katana) fairly often. Moreton Island is fairly deserted, and is populated with wild game, mostly feral pigs. Another cool thing is that there are many fresh water creeks on Moreton Island, so i'm sorted for nutrition. Aside from the odd camper zombie, i should be ok.

Sauna would be good place to hide or not even hide, because even zombies can't survive in finnish sauna.

It would be very cool to just hide in some countryside house(like BH finale) and see zombies walking near your house.

Get on a boat and try to head to an oil rig, they're pretty much built to sustain people living on them for quite a while and they're away from the general population.
