Right, time for some skull-cracking.

Firstly, unless you have some as-yet unseen evidence to conclusively prove that Michael Jackson actually WAS a paedophile, I suggest you stop calling him one. Like it or not, and whatever your personal beliefs, he was never found guilty in a court of law, and I believe the 'innocent until proven guilty' rule applies.
As I'm assuming no-one here HAS that evidence, any further references to this will be deleted and warnings/infractions given.

Secondly, let's not turn this thread into a hate-fest/argument, please. If you don't have anything positive to say about Michael Jackson or his life, then kindly save it for another time - this isn't it.

So yeah... basically what I'm asking is for everyone to be mature here.

In all fairness, OJ Simpson was never found guilty in a court of law either for murdering two people...doesn't mean he didn't do it.

And if he died tomorrow, I wouldn't feel compelled to only say nice things about him on the internet. And I wouldn't feel compelled to show him respect, even if he was a football legend. Meh..I will never understand people's relationships with celebriti.

No. I'm asking them to be mature by not trying to instigate arguments about whether someone was a child molester in a thread discussing their death. I'm simply trying to keep the peace here and not have to lock the thread, so if you have a problem with that, don't post in it.

No, you're correct- he wasn't found guilty. However, we aren't in any position to overrule a court of law, and as such I'd prefer that we stick to facts in this case to avoid arguments.

And I'm not asking ANYONE to say nice things about Michael Jackson. However, I am asking people to refrain from making unproven claims about the guy in a thread regarding his death.

I've bought countless albums in the last 2 months and all of them are awesome, I never skip tracks.

It's probly a pop thing, loads of people who buy "popular" albums seem to skip tracks, all the albums I buy which arn't mainstream I never EVER skip tracks because seriously all the songs are good... Maybe it's just me meh.

Well I trust my opinion over those of 12 people I have never met to be honest. Not to say he is guilty by the way. Just saying that just because 12 specific people weren't convinced doesn't mean the rest of the world has to agree with them. So for me, saying he is innocent is an "unproven claim." Therefore I might not have such positive views about him, and saying so isn't me trying to start a fight.

The guy had sleepovers with 10 year olds and was dangled kids from balconies by the way, those were proven lol. And that alone is enough to be completely creeped out by this dude. So while I admire his musical career and have many good things to say about it, I am the opposite way with his personal life...which I have many bad things to say about.

I really don't want to start an argument. But you guys shouldn't be offended if I disliked him, just like I shouldn't be offended by you loving him. If we can all agree to disagree then we can all get along. lol

In other words, I really want to go back to posting tasteless and funny pictures about MJ.

Yeah, I see what you're saying, and I'm probably in a similar position to yourself on this one, but right now for the sake of keeping the peace and not having to lock the thread (or spend my whole day moderating it), it's just easier to ask those who have issues with his personal life to leave them at the door for the time being.
