Absolutely.
I'll start with the installation as its what most people have problems with.
The left4dead server guide explains how to do the installation in about 6 steps or so.
l4d breaks it down to 2 with another optional step:
1)
l4d steam
2)
l4d install
3)
l4d config
Note: Argument is what you type after the program name.
The steam argument install steam.
The install argument installs the game which in this case is left4dead.
The config argument opens the configuration file so you can tweak settings.
It has several other arguments useful for server administration.
The update argument updates the game to the latest version.
The status argument checks whether the game is running, updating, or stopped.
Then there are the actual game modes.
The normal argument starts the game in normal mode.
The versus argument starts the game in versus mode.
The survival argument starts the game in survival mode.
The stop argument stops the game in progress. This was just added to the help.
The help argument lists available arguments.
About the games, I should specify that it starts every game in a screen and this screen is stopped when you stop the game.
You can give it an extra argument when starting the game to specify the map. If you don't, it will start the hospital map.
For example:
l4d normal boathouse
This would start the game in normal mode in the boathouse map.
If there is anything you think should be implemented as well, I'm open to suggestions.
