Left 4 Dead Freezing, triend many a Fix.

When i play my game will freeze up and the sound will loop. My drivers are crashing.

Ive tried Many fix:
- Console Fix
- Lowering Shader Detail
- Lowering Audio Quality
- turning off multi core rendering.
- Completely removing drivers and reinstalling, and using Driver Sweeper to pick up the pieces.


Any Help would be awesome.

Hardware:
Core 2 Quad Extreme
Nvidia GTX 285
6 GB Memory

Did you update your audio drivers? I had this problem for Red Orchestra on my other computer

Ive seen this issue arise in many other topics, is there any fix that anyone knows that will work outside of what i have tried?

I seem to recall seeing a thread or two with potential fixes for the "NVIDIA audio looping crash" on the steampowered forums. Try digging around there a bit (sorry I can't recall the thread names...)

Solved it by setting all my graphic settings to low.

Kinda wish i knew a way to get them all on High because i have a computer that can play maxed with +100 FPS >.<
