Left 4 Dead clans

I was thinking about clans for L4D and wondering if it is actually worth doing something like that. With a limit of 4 people per side, it doesn't seem like there would be much need for a clan. That's just my opinion. What is yours?

Well, know that I think of it, I think the game would be more gritty and realistic with people you barely know. For example you may ask someone to cover your back and they will be running off in another direction, In other games this would be annoying, but tbh clan or no clan this game will kick some serious ass in the videogames industry.

I don't see the point in clans really, in CS:S they're good because its competitive and you can have clan matches but with L4D the only clan vs clan you can have is if one clan is the infected and one the survivors which would be alright but not really any different to playing with randoms.

Well if you only have a clan of 4 people and one persons not on... whats the point.. but if u have more than 4 like mabey 10 to 20 then there will always be someone on u kno that u can play with... plus u can have cool events and cool ranks like my clan The zombie Survival Squad [TzSs] The Zombie Survival Squad [TzSs] | If Its Undead Shoot It In The Head

Doesn't look like there would be use for a clan in L4D.

I think the clan scene for L4D could be actually quite fun, especially if you have your own dedicated server and forums so you can share those awesome pics/vids.

L4D seems like quite an hardcore game, from watching the videos, the game looks very challenging, you're going to be wanting to play with a few familar faces, I'd rather have a friend watch my back whose skills I am confident in.

Never said you couldn't.

Sure, joining a steam group and playing on their servers has its perks, but you don't get that sense of camaraderie and organisied play, at least I don't. If a clan has the right attitude, and has clear objectives for its members, I wouldn't mind joining a clan for L4D, even if its pointless since there won't be any tournaments to challenge your clan members, but at least you'll share some fun moments with familar players who know how to shoot.
