Yep a movie about a game but its animated which will kinda suck

I'd say animated would be way better than live action. Most of the live action zombie movies made suffer from low budgets, which lead to terrible special effects, which is at the core of any zombie movie -- it supplies the blood and gore required to maintain the illusion that these creatures are dead/infected.
