L4D2 Runtime Error... NEED HELP!
well after playing for about 15-20 mins, all of a sudden it just crashes and shows me a runtime error on the desktop.. anybody knows whats going on? pls help.

Did you purchase it on disc, or download it via Steam?

Also check in your Windows Event Viewer to see if there are any error messages.

When it crashes, check your Windows Event Viewer and see if there is an error there. I suspect it is video related.

If it were me, I would un-install your video card, and then reinstall it using the Version 178 driver and try the game again. Some times the latest drivers cause problems with some of the "older" video cards. While the 9800 is not ancient ( I have one too), it is almost 2 years old now.

Anything that occurred around the date and time of the last time the game crashed on you. Maybe something that says left4dead.exe or maybe video driver related.
