I've started again with Halflife 2. I figured that in between running three forums and a blog and helping out at a couple of other forums and being a father with a full time girlfriend and a fulltime job I'll be able to get through HL2, Ep1 & EP2 by the time L4D is released.

My mouse made the Crysis demo hard work so I avoided it. Also read that it is not the greatest in terms of finishing too soon, or abruptly. Is this true?

Same. I'm currently downloading (and installing) the Orange Package through STEAM. Hopefully get into some horror HL2 modifications once I'm done playing through. For now, it's zombine hunting time. Get it, zombine?? (credit goes to Alyx Vance )

Which one did you like the best? I most enjoyed RE: Nemesis. That was awesome.

It's a toss up between RE2 and RE0. Those are my two favorite Resident Evil games, although I do love them all.

You'd be surpirised what we know around here. GRAW is on the PC too, right? Sure I read about it in PCZone recently.

Yeah GRAW2 is on PC, PS3 and 360. The prequel (GRAW, without the 2 ) is on Xbox and PC (perhaps PS3 and 360, I'm not sure).

I'm a former 360 fanboi, and a few of us here hail (and meet there years ago) from a 'gaming forum'.
Sad, funny, simple and quick. It's nothing fancy, and there are only two character models to select from, so you're running around with 'clones' killing one another. I joined a 'capture the briefcase' match were it's the blue team against the red. There are blue and red arrows above the players heads that distinguish who is who. There aren't a lot of servers, I think I saw 4 on the list, 2 had people playing. I was hoping to check out an invasion match, the one where the goal is to survive. Didn't get a chance yet, nor did I get a chance to find a sniper and head to the roof tops to kill both my opponents and the zombies below. That is what excited me most from the video(s).

It's an older game, but it still wasn't that great in it's time. That could be a reason why most of us never heard about it. If you're a zombie fan though, you gotta at least try it out, if not to just play the SP and shoot some zombies from time to time.

I thought I had heard about this game but I don't remember that being so long ago. It turns out (after doing some research) that the game I had heard about was "City of the Dead".

It starts out casual, then it grows and grows until it is festering within your mind. Soon it will corrupt your mind and take you to the WoW side. There are very few examples of people who have been to the WoW side and managed to return... and most of these are mentally and physically scarred for life.

Yep, I've been there (to the edge of WoW insanity) but resisted the plunge. After a year and a half of WoW and almost nothing else, I called it quits. It had been about 6 months since I played last. I decided to jump back in casually and so far I've been doing OK. I play every once in a while but I'm not sure it's worth it. I had three accounts going and I ended up selling (shhhh) two of them. I made a profit in the end, which is nice. The one I have left doesn't hold my former main characters, it's a completely new account and it's just for fun. No serious 'raiding' or 'PvP'.

Besides, I'm more excited about L4D and L4Dforums.com!

I'm also currently playing HL2, GTA:SA a bit and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I'm looking for some horror games (and/or mods). I've been watching a lot of zombie movies as of late too.

No, but I have seen the downfall of many and the severe damage it causes to those who are brought back from the WoW side. Even witnessing these effects second hand is traumatic.

It is good to know we have another of such strong will among our ranks CAW.
