Back on topic, I wonder what they could possibly add to Counter-Strike 2 that hasn't been done before.

I mean sure updated graphics, some new weapons/items (i welcome the return of shields!) and new maps are in order for the day, but is a sequel neccessary?

No there isn't.

There is nothing substantial to add. Anything they could add (weapons, maps, items, etc) could easily done through free updates.

Precisely, but one thing that would ruin Counter-Strike IMHO would be vehicles, because thats what Battle Field is for.

CS is pretty much a perfect format for the game.

Sure, it has bugs and stuff that people will whine and bitch about but anything added to it would just overcomplicate a simple and brilliant formula.

umm wtf are you talking about only the HD vids take a while to load up, regular vids still take a second but not as long

They're now going to update CS Source to the orange box engine.
