Lightbulb Why don't the L4D survivers simply flee to the DPRK

Instead of roaming America in the slim hopes of finding a place that is free from Zombies. Why don't the survivors flee to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

The healthcare system of Korea along with the policy’s of both Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and Dear Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il have managed to keep the DPRK from such dangerous diseases such as HIV, so I think that Kim Jong Il would probably be able to keep zombies out as well

After all Zombies would be no match for the KPA and Kim Jong Il the Invincible Commander and Brilliant Songun General.

I couldn't possibly tell you the reasons why the survivors won't be fleeing to DPRK.

It'd blow your mind, literately.

How the hell are they meant to get there? Swim? If the whole of America is crippled by zombies, I don't that there will be many ships worthy of travelling over goddamn oceans available.

In the end of most L4D campaigns the survivors escape in a helicopter or other air transportation.

They could fly to the DPRK making stops for fuel at abandoned depots and other such buildings on the way there, a bit like the survivors did in the start of George A. Romero's Dawn of The Dead before the arrived at the shopping mall.

Surely we are all aware that the Green Flu is in fact a North Korean superweapon, commissioned by the Illuminati, Al-Qaeda, Rupert Murdoch and Bill Gates in order to depose the weak puppet governments of the world and establish a new political hierarchy.

They will thus acquire enough funds to construct gargantuan cabbage fields on which to feed the genetically engineered squid monsters that will populate the Earth, serving their warlord masters in the many intergalactic campaigns that will follow to construct an intergalactic empire.

True.

But it would make a great ending. Think about it the survivors have spent a long time trying to survive the zombie infested America.

They make a close escape in a helicopter once again and try to find somewhere that is free from the Zombie plague.

They fly to Canada and even head into Russia but still they cannot find anywhere that hasn't been affected.

They are just about to give up hope when they see a city in the distance, one with ordinary people in it rather than Zombies.

They see the Juche Tower in distance, the statue of Kim Il Sung, the sun rising over Pyongyang City and know that they have finally found somewhere safe.

Or they get bundled into a concentration camp and suffer a variety of experiments on their immunity.

Certainly not!

'Call of duty' is an imperialist game and a source of pro colonial propaganda.

All I'm saying is that the survivors would be able to take shelter from the Zombie Plague in the DPRK seeing as the zombies would not able to go there.

Obviously if this were the happen the story of the survivors who escaped to the DPRK would end there.

Also Cuba or the DPRK would be the first place I would go in such an outbreak.

You go and do that. While you wimp out and run away, I'll be rounding up survivours and taking back the world from zombies. They don't write fan fiction about those who play it safe kid. When the zombies come, which side of the shotgun will you be on? Dun dun DUUUUUUN

You are aware any time during a zombie apocalypse, if you say "This place is a zombie free zone!" You just made it the most stupidest place to be? You just jinxed it. Now Korea is just a zombie buffet. I hope you're happy.

So you're saying that you would happily run into the arms of a Communist regime? Simply because one country has apparently kept HIV out? You do realise that the USSR would have kept when their leader sneezed under wraps. What's to say that North Korea does in fact has something like HIV and the like, but haven't been ballsy enough to admit it?

Quite frankly I would have to look out of the window if Kim Jong-il told me it was raining. I wouldn't trust a single word he, or any other current North Korean citizen, says. It's not their fault, if they said otherwise Kim would send them to a concentration camp alongside their family where they'd be gassed together.

It's all fine and well to joke about the DPRK, I'd even encourage it, but it's one of the few places on this world that I find disturbing. I'm not a believer in evil people, but I know that evil acts and things can exist, and the DPRK's government is one of them.

God only knows that goes on in there, and I can guarantee that what you see isn't what you get in Pyongyang.

Well I support Marxist-Leninism and Juche.

This is very obvious seeing as I have the DPRK flag as my aviator and a quote by Great Leader Kim Il Sung as my signature.

Oh and the fact that my username is Juche1949 I really didn’t spell it out enough did I.

If the DPRK was overrun by zombies the KPA would just go back to using the guerrilla warfare strategies they used against the Japanese and the Americans.

You right though it would be better to round up survivors and utilize Mao Zedong's concept of the people’s war and fight the zombies that way. Then running to the DPRK or Cuba.

There would probably be many ways that you use this kind of guerrilla warfare to fight Zombies.
