Never said you couldn't.
Sure, joining a steam group and playing on their servers has its perks, but you don't get that sense of camaraderie and organisied play, at least I don't. If a clan has the right attitude, and has clear objectives for its members, I wouldn't mind joining a clan for
L4D, even if its pointless since there won't be any tournaments to challenge your clan members, but at least you'll share some fun moments with familar players who know how to shoot.
