Exactly, this is a hypothetical question, with no real answers since none of this can be proved.
However, if you think through it logically, since the infected have blood then the vampires must be able to suck their blood. But from intaking the infected blood, do the vampires then become infected vampires? Also, I think vampires have the choice between turning who they bite into vampires, or just killing them. If I was a vampire, I'd definately make zombie vampires.
Yet with shamblers, biting and blood sucking would have no effect except to make them go "URGHHHHHHHHHHHHH".
