i think theres is a possibility of a rabies like virus but i dont think it would create actuall zombiez

Romero Era zombies, no. There's not really any way that zombies which are unaided, undead shambling corpses... At least not yet

But the new age zombie; the infected... There's every chance that could happen

I do believe that zombies will come someday. I don't believe that infections like that are zombies.

loved WWZ. Zombie survival guide is a good read but it won't take you long.

I find it hard to believe that a dead body will come back But, i still believe and am ready if they do come.

No. The dead have a habit of staying dead. They don't get up and start clawing at you.

Infected, maybe. Get me a hugely mutated airborne rabies-type virus which doesn't show any symptoms for a week or two, symptomless carriers and we'll have loads of "fun".

I do believe one day there will be zombies but maybe it will take a long time and it will be in the future where we'll have unlimited laser guns and flying cars but the thing I'm worried about is what if they are going to appear just around the corner? In england, I can't do shit since the cops are cracking down on the chavs and they're probably our highest defensive troops in england. I guess we could use them as Meat Shields but they wont last forever! Maybe i could be added onto your VIP bunker list, reginald assblaine?

Zombies like from the romero films will never occur...as they wont be able to claw through 6 feet of dirt and bodies are generally cremated....infection and crap is quite possible...probable? no. Possible

I remember the good old days, MNDF, when you came across as the crazy guy that was convinced that the zombie apocolypse was enevitable...that part of you shone through in this thread..and I miss him...good times...goooooood tiiiimes....

A while ago, I read something that said, if you strip away the higher functions of a human, reduce them to the basic functions (take in food, excrete waste, and sleep) then theoretically those creatures would do anything, even run (as the L4D zombies do), to get to that food.

Romero-esque zombies are definitely impossible, but an infection that reduces a human being to an animal, wanting only food (a healthy diet of Survivor-flesh), is certainly possible.

Creepy, isn't it?
