Why do you believe facts in "non-fiction" books? Hmm, the authors are under no obligation to state only fact. Same as news and current affairs shows...

Anyone can become the editor for a news show to show things that are not true.
If anything the fact that anyone can edit Wiki is a good thing for truth: if someone sees something they know is bullshit they can change it. If you see something on the news that you know is bullshit can you change it? What about in a book? No. Didn't think so.
Besides; if you aren't even HALF smart you make sure that the Wiki article has REFERENCE LINKS that are reliable sites... But you obviously didn't realise that you can do that?
Not to be harsh, but people bashing on Wiki is just stupid. If you use it right you will only ever get good information. |
