God hates ....

yesterday at my school some kids came and wrote god hates gays on a school wall 2 where caught and where given community service , but when a kid change the writing to god is gay he receives a school suspension... i dont really think this is fair punishment does anyone else think this ?

Its fair, because God does dislikes gays, even though other people may not believe in god, its fair enough in my opinion.

Sure, Leroy, the statement may have been correct in your belief but the fact is its vandalism. Both kids committed the same crime but they are punished differently by the same laws? Is that really what you call fair?

Put it this way, if that was me or my kid (the one who got suspended), I'd sue that school and win.

Religion should have no place in the courts of law nor in the schoolyard (unless its a specific religion's school).

i thought that they both vandelised the same school they schould get the same punishment. and i dont think god hates anyone .... and if he does i dont think hes a nice god.

That's stupid. Both children commited the same crime of vandalism and should get the same punishment. It shouldn't matter what they wrote, whether one did it first or second - they both ruined school property and should be punished.

Also God doesn't hate gays... but i'll leave that for another topic.

well ive skimmed the throug the bible and no where does it say though shall hate "insert here" but wat happened to love your neighbour ........... like wat if there ur neightbours ...

Bah, too many people take the Bible at face value... If you look at the actual meanings behind the words most of the teachings that I've read/heard of/seen/etc are actually quite good... But far too many Christians (other religions to, I guess, but I don't really know any Muslims or Hindus or Buddhists or anything) take them at face value and don't look to the actual meaning...

If you ever read the passage in the bible that talks about Sodom and Gomorrah he destroyed them, one of the reasons is because they were homosexuals. He hates sin, and obviously he hates homosexuals.

i dont take the bible at face value i dont think any one should because if they did they would aporve of slavery and alot of other bad stuff.

umm so the citys where gay ...together... well than thats weird oh and thats alot better he didnt just kill 2 people he killed everyone inside the cities together . thats so much better
