my idea is to make new game objectives like instead of survivors trying to get to a safeplace and camping there in a corner like most counter strike terrorists or escaping in a truck or helicopter, they would have to do other stuff like activating a timed bomb then running like hell to get out of the city or killing a certain amount of zombies in some area before the time runs out, also this idea takes *this* much thought, so dont try to tell me this idea sucks becuase its just something i thought about in like 2 seconds

I'm sure we'll see plenty of objective-based mods for L4D and the escape scenarios will definitely see some action.

Both these ideas have a wide array of supporters so the modding community will have them rolling out in no time, I expect.

How how bout like the infected and survivors have to race to reach an escape boat and the infecteds goal is to sink it while the survivors goal is to reach it and escape.

With the game as is that would require some crazy changes seeing as the game is designed so that the infected will pretty well always get there first.

i like that idea, left 4 deads safedoor idea is good but its very linear for map making.
