Zombies!!! the board game

This looks cool I want it:

Zombies!!! puts you in the middle of the action as you try to escape the ever advancing zombie hoard. Players must use a combination of wits and brawn to be the first to the heliport and certain escape. The only problem is, the zombies are everywhere, they appear to be very hungry and your opponents would really prefer if you didn't escape.

Components: 2 dice, 6 shotgun guys, 30 map tiles, 50 action cards, dozens of counters, 100 Plastic Zombies

That honestly sounds freaking awesome!!!

Bit under AU$30 isn't a bad price either for something of that epicissity.

Whilst there is a dice rolled for movement and to kill the zombies (and thus there is an element of luck involve in winning)it doesn't mean that there is no strategy. The cards add most of the strategy involved in the game. The set comes with 50 excelently designed cards. Playing them does one of three things, helps you, hurts your opponent(s) or both. PLaying them at the correct time is crucial and this game is a good way to test your freindship!

One of the most interesting things is the board, it develops as you play with each player laying tiles to create the city, with each tile more zombies are laid and you will soon find yourself surrounded. The changing board means that the gameplay is always different which adds to the replay-ability.

There is so much more to say, including how you fight and how to stay alive, and when it is actually best to die and start from the beginning but ths review is already huge.

In conclusion if you like Zombie films you love this game, every cliche and weapon from these movies is here and even the way you play will end up imitating character types (the person that charges in killing the zombies as the ex-cop etc). The expansion packs which are available add extra fun to an already well rounded boardgame.
