Proof of this is the Diablo 3 petition, but you would think people would be happy that valve is going to distance to make this a good game, most developers would not redo something that is already done so that they can save time and money. |

No, they're the actual new models. They've still got some refinement and all that jazz to go through but they're permanent.

Yeah, that D3 petition is stupid, we've seen maybe .001% of the game's environment and people are already complaining that it isn't dark enough...
I'd hate to be a developer for this stuff; you will never keep everyone happy...

As Valve have said; its a gameplay decision based on the opinions of people who have played the game.
Not the fashion sense of fans with no experience in-game.

Exactly, there is a reason why people playteset the game - and their feedback is crucial for the development of the game.
Personally, I don't mind the new look of the skin. Let Valve develop the game, that is one thing they are good at. |
