It would probably change your emotional level. You won't be so frustrated and realize its your fault for buying the computer. Realize that if the computer were better it would cost more and wouldn't be in your possession. Think about it, you paid x amount of dollars for an Alienware computer. You can't complain of said computer being bad, when there isn't a chance to get a BETTER Alienware computer for x amount of dollars.

Like what mynamedidntfit said, go whine on Alienware forums so at least stress doesn't cause premature gray hair like me. I'm 17.

If EP2 runs L4D should run. Don't worry.

I'm safe. My last upgrade was to 4 gig of Ram. Running a 8800GTX too, so just bring it on.

Whatever the end system requirements, the good thing about the Source engine is that it (up until now at least) seems to run well on even your lower end gaming rigs. . . of course all of the eye candy will have to be toned down: but at least it runs and is playable . . . unlike some new games.

i would prefer getting l4d on the pc becuase the 360 version is just going to be a shitload more controls i have to remember, which comes with every xbox 360 game, and i just need to find out system requirements

Also, could the consoles have the same update problems as The Orange Box has now?

They do not get updates as frequent as PC users do, due to restrictions and the like.

I have always wondered about that.

I can run EP2 etc so yeah.
