New games I'll be playing soon

I've been on a bit of an eBay binge recently and picked up some titles I awlasy wanted to play but never got around to at release. Three recent titles are:

Defcon (which I got for under £4)
Aliens vs Predator 2 - In preparation for Aliens: Colonial Marines (more on that site later)
FEAR + ex packs


FEAR arrived first but I've not installed it yet. Will do once I feel I need a break from Age of Conan.

I think AVP2 has multiplayer, so if anyone's pred needs killing, lemme know.

DEFCON is a brilliant game for the first few hours... Gets boring after that though, IMO.
I played it when they had a free weekend of it on Steam

AVP2... That's fairly old isn't it? Because if its the one I'm thinking of its also a brilliant game... But it doesn't stop being brilliant
If you want a challenge more than anything; go the humans.

And I haven't played FEAR but I keep meaning to get it...

Heh, talking about Defcon - I saw it on SkyNews (yes, SkyNews of all places you say!) around a week ago.

Anyway - at the moment I find its a quiet time for PC Gamer. I am going back over some of my titles and giving them a go again. I have been playing a lot of Medieval 2 Total War recently.

I'm having a PC break at the moment! Goanna play some of the new Prince of Persia and fianally play some GOW 2, first GOW was great but never played any old POP

AvP2 is amazingly good fun on multiplayer. Probably best on a large LAN game though, as I doubt there are many servers these days. :-/

Played DEFCON for a bit, played AVP2 for an hour, never bothered installing FEAR.

Man, I suck at keeping promises to myself.

That colonial Marines thing...Avp mmo? Goodbye real life :P

I'm probably getting a few games for the wii, and then getting myself a 360. But will probably get GTA IV for the PC tho.

I'd really like to try out call of duty modern warfare or world at war though...
But I'm not sure if my laptop can run it

Dead Space

All installed and not yet played (cept Crysis). And then there's fitting it all round my L4D playing and WotLK. I takes me months to finish a single FPS game these days, time is taken up by the missus
