Off Steam or off the shelf

Some people still prefer the feeling of buying a new game off the shelf. I am one of those who prefers the convenience of buying off steam. How will you be buying L4D?

I prefer console versions of all the recent games so it's off the shelf for me.

I would tend to purchase off steam unless it was significantly cheaper off the shelf. Considering i have a bike and don't mind exercise either option is good by me but i do like steam.

From Steam. Much easier to do it and just pay on (my brothers!!) credit card than to bother my arse to go into town and buy.

Steam FTW!

Games are a lot cheaper on Steam. I stumbled upon the Orange Box today in a store and it cost like 80$!!! I can get it 30$ cheaper from Steam. And i can get games before they reach the shelves here, like CoD4 and Bioshock. And i can get games that are very rare and hard to find in stores...

Games like Hl2, EP1, SoF2, Doom 3, Bf2, HL1+OF+BS, TFC, CoH, HoI2 etc etc...

Me? I will be buying it from a retail outlet. I just like being able to look at my shelf and see a collection of games from Far Cry to TOB to DoW to Diablo II. I just love having the physical game.

I don't care as to the cost really

Buy the game in hard physical form so when shit happens you can prove your purchase.

If you buy via Steam you get a printable receipt as proof of purchase.

Either way I'll be buying it off the shelf, I like having the box and the discs
