VALVE: We Will Be Doing Demo's And Beta's For The PC/XBOX 360
In the following interview, Chet Faliszek from Valve hints that they plan to run either a beta, or release a demo for L4D.

There is aim assist for the 360 version, Mr. Faliszek talks about it in the video, which I'm guessing you didn't even watch. Hence the quotations in my original sentence: "aim assist".
The full sentence (from the video, and Chet Faliszek's mouth):
"we've added aim assist to help the players with the fine tuning of their ability to turn; we've also added a 180 flip button so that you can spin 180 degrees, ah, something easier to do with the mouse than it is with the controller".
So what he's saying is that the 360 version of Left 4 Dead has 'helpers' (like aim assist and an instant 180 degree turn button) because it's easier to aim and spin around using the mouse and keyboard than it is using an Xbox 360 controller. So they've added these features to 'assist' the 360 players.

The 360 would certainly need the Aim Assist, and the 180 degree turn will also come in handy I bet. |
