L4D forums...how long

How long will you be visiting L4D forums for? Who of u guys will still visit and post on this site after the game is released? I know I will but what about u.

i hope that this forum will still be around after the release...

This forum will die the very second Alan, Dangar^, MNDF, Leroy, Reginald, CAW and those other 4-5 guys whose names i don't bother remembering stop posting.

Quite the contrary, as we draw closer to release, and thereafter the forum will likely prosper as more people get the game and there is more discussion to be had about it.



And I'll still be here posting and vigilantly watching for opportunities to rip on Dangar.

off topic is anyone going to buy a server? even though i havent been here long if someone gets a server this site will be difficult to die once someone gets a server

You can start your own server using Source Dedicated Server, but yeah it'd be great if we had a couple of Official L4D Forums servers.

It would, but from what I gather the bulk of L4D playing will be on Valve-made L4D dedicated servers...

Alan and I have discussed the idea of an L4D forums server a couple of times in the past but we didn't decided on anything. We can look into it more once the game is released.

Once the game is released though we can start a thread and list some servers that community members visit regularly. That should increase the chances of us being able to play together too.

Well, I just joined so why leave? ^^ These forums are great and we can arrange good matches in L4D when it comes out.

I wouldn't mind buying us a dedicated server, I mean since it's only 4 - 8 slots depending on what mode it is, it should cost around $10 - 20 /m

Or make your own, you're internet should be fine since it's only 4-8 player slots.
