What movie scared you as a child?
List the movie(s) that scared you as a child.
I can't remember exactly how old I was when I watched this movie, but I was under 10 years old. This movie haunted my dreams, but something kept me glued to it!
The Car
Hell, I'm STILL scared just because of the memories! I must find this DvD.

No movie scared me. That I can remember. The one thing that gave me nightmares for weeks on end was Jeff Wayne's muscial version of War of the Worlds. It terrified me beyond adult comprehension. Every night I'd wake up in a cold sweat and shaking yet, perversely, desperate to get back to sleep to continue with the dream. It's like I was the youngest masochist on the block. I've loved that version of War of the Worlds above all others since then.
This is the start of it:
..and this is the best bit, about the ship they called Thunderchild.

I had bad, real bad nightmares about Freddie Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street. Was way to young when I watched it. Really scared me.

I remember watching Starship Troopers when it first came out (that makes me 5). I was absolutely crapping myself
Hehe, since then I've re-watched it many times and haven't gotten sick of it

I really was never scared by movies that much as a kid. At least not my horror movies.
I would have to say the movie that had the biggest effect on me when I was younger was Schindler's List. I will say I was "scared" of what humans can do to other humans after watching that film, and the scariest part of it was it was real, not fake like horror movies are

Two movies spring to mind...
GhostBusters: When they're in the library and the ghost woman tells them to "Shhh" then turns in to a scary fucker.
Nightmare on elm street: Just because I had to walk home in the dark after watching it on holiday.

Halloween, that movie scared the hell out of me...
The music was the worst part and the breathing.
Listen to this
or the soundtrack...remember to switch off the lights and turn off your TV etc, to make it even more scary, get an image of Michael Myers up.
EDIT: Nearly had a heart attack, my brother walked into my room and touched my shoulder...
