Hello, my name is Patrick. I am the last survivor of what now is called 'the Subway excident.' Two years ago I and my best buddy Niek wanted to take a beer at the nearest pub. For this, we took the subway. It was already late but we wher bored and needed a beer. We walked to the nearest subway and walked downstaires. We got ourselves a ticket and walked to the station. But before we knew it, the police isoluted the whole subway. They said a dangerous virus was discovered in the subway. 'This virus infects people so stay away from the infected' is what the police said. Their we stould, in the subway with just a few other people. In the dark an infected approached us and ran into one of the other survivers. We all saw how this woman was eaten by this outraged infected, it was a zombie and there where more downstaires.
This story starts just a few minutes earlier.....
It is one hour in the evening, and Niek and I are standing in the subway. It is dark and cold, but luckily we are not alone. We are both in the group of last human survivers. The rest is infected by the virus and are trying to kill us. They already killed one of us but we managed to escape to this main room. Everyone is paniced, trying to find weapons to defend themselves. Niek and I decided to find some weapons, leaving the group behind. We walked for some minutes but we did not find any weapns. We did foundd some wooden sticks but we knew that a wooden stick wouldn't save us. We heared screaming and yelling at the end of the hall. 'We have to keep walking' Niek sais to me. Then we found a little room, loaded with boxes, closets and.. a gun! 'We have to make a barricade,' I said to Niek. 'Yes,' Niek sais 'lets make a barricade.'
We made ourselves a barricade with the boxes in the room. Together we made two barricades, one in front of each door. When we finished we tried to contact with the other survivors : 'We made a barricade,.. are their still humans alive?' One responses, his name is Ted. 'Yes, I am comming to you.. wait there.'
We hear something comming near as we point our gun over the barricade. 'It is me .. Ted,' sais Ted. Ted jumps over the barricade .. but then .... ZOMBIE ZOMBIE BEHIND YOU TED! ....
Niek and I shouting and shooting like hell, loosing all our ammo. 'That was close' Ted said. Luckily Niek and I saved him, but we lost all our ammo. To surive we had to find some ammo. 'I will find us some ammo, you stay here,' I said to them. I walked down the stairs alone, frightened and scared. I entered another little room where I saw a dead body. Their was also a desk in the room with some pistol ammo. Luckily for me, I didn't encounter with any zombies because otherwise this had costed my life. I took the ammo and I runned back to Niek and Ted. When I came back with ammo and shared it with Ted and Niek, we got another radio response. 'Help me, I am alone in the generator room and it is crowded with zombies, please help me.' We looked to each other and said 'Let's get him.' 'We are comming to you wait there,' Niek said to him.
With the group of three we went downstaires to the generator room. It was very dark so we had to use our flashlight. Ted was walking in front and I walked on the back. I was constantly looking at my back if no zombies where approaching from behind. 'I don't see him,' Ted sais. 'There he is!', Niek shouts. 'Let's git him out of there!' Like the three musketeers we shot the zombies around him and saved him. The survivor ran to us. 'Thank you guys for saving me, they scared the shit out of me.' We had to go quickly before the other zombies would come to the generator room. 'Come, we take you back to our barricade' I said to him. Then Niek shouts 'ZOMBIES, TED WATCH OUT' ... But it was to late. In the eyes of Niek, Ted was killed by the zombie horde. We also lost the other guy we tried to save.' We lost Ted, we lost Ted.'
Niek and I went back to the barricade. It was not that far away from the generator room so it only took us two minutes to get there. We where down because we lost Ted by trying to save the other survivor. We tried to make radio contact with other survivors.' Any humans out there?' But we got no response ....
Only the two of us, with a lack of ammo and a horde of zombies comming to us. We did survive for a long time but it just was not enough. There was still no subway comming to the station. We knew this was our end as we took a last breath. And .. yes... there they came..... ZOMBIE ZOMBIE!!! .. SHOOT THEM .. OUT OF AMMO, I AM OUT OF AMMO!'. 'Run dammed, run for your life.!' Niek watch out .. Niek!!
Two minutes later the sub arrived, but this was to late for Niek and Ted. I managed to escape and can tell this story about these two brave men that saved my life. Now a few years later I still have to think a lot about this dark day. The police didn't tell me much. I know they know more but they refuse to tell me. But this is not the thing that really botters me.. it is what I thought to hear from the zombies when I was in the sub. ' This is not over yet...'
