A bit about YOU

We're all new here, for the most part, so I figured I'd drop this here and stick it. People can add to it over time. It's just a thread where you can add a bit about yourself. This isn't required of course, so no worries if you don't want to take part.

I'm CAW, which cleverly stands for Captain Albert Wesker. I'm sure most if not all of you know who this is. He's been a favorite game character (villain even) of mine for awhile now, since 1998 to be exact. Anyway thats whats up with my name. So no, it isn't related to birds.

I'm a 27 year old guy from Ontario, Canada. I have a fairly long history around games (I love them!) and gaming forums. Without going into a long and boring novel, I'll just add that it all began around 2002. I met AzH, we worked together on a large gaming forum and have been friends ever since. Through the years we've went on to develop a number of online communities. It's like a hobby of ours. L4D is our newest and I'm very excited because I love zombie games, movies, books, etc, and of course Valve (<3 u Valve). So here we are, uuuugggghhhhh.

I'm Thunder, which stands for that sound that takes place when lightning happens. I have two brothers, known as LIghTNinG and Rain (I might be able to get Rain to join here).

I'm 14 from Maryland, US. I have played games since I was 3, starting with (I'm pretty sure) Mario Bros #1. I casually play zombie games, but rarely get around to zombie movies. I mostly play shooters, and some say I'm a Nintendo fanboy, even though I play on my PC more than any Nintendo console I've owned (which is all of them.. even a virtual boy for a while).

I met AzH and CAW May of 2007 when someone I know got me to join some forums with them on it.

One more thing: I'm very cocky. And awesome.

I'm Corey, AKA MyNameDidntFit AKA MNDF. My name doesn't stand for anything. (Oh, on the side, I did a little research on your namesake CAW and he looks like my kinda guy, I often find myself more attached to villains of his sort than the actual protagonist.)
Anyway, I'm 15, I live in Australian (which is far more awesome than America) and yeah I love zombies. A very large amount of my thinking and time go into zombie-related projects, such as my story and my theories (both of these are on this forum, look in Break Room in Zombie Lore I think).

I'm a Lolcat (for the moment I appear in the form of the cat in my DP) and I really, really, really love Jason Vorhees (you may have noticed by my signature).

That's pretty much all there is to it.

I'm leroy, and when I graduate from college, I will be going to the police academy. Right now i've been playing cs source and team fortress 2 and am waiting for L4D. I live in California.

I live in the USA and enjoy gaming. I am a college grad from PTI (Pittsburgh Technical Institute) with an Associates of Science Degree in Graphic Design with some knowledge of Multimedia tech and web design.

I plan on moving to Alaska sometime in the near future. I've been there twice and can't wait to go back.

I enjoy working on computers and playing games. I like to hunt, fish, ride ATV's, and listen to Classic Rock (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, and the like).

I am a long (long) time member of a few forums, only one that I really visit that much anymore (FileFront) though some of you know that.

I'm Alan Smith, I'm 30 years old and from Darlington in England. I live with my girlfriend Jenny and our five month old son, Thomas. I work as an account manager for a telecoms firm looking after business customers and basically being nice to them. It's easy and it pays okay. I'm looking now, though, to move into management. The time is right, I'm mature enough to be taken seriously and still young enough to be fresh, if you get my meaning.

I spend a lot of my spare time on the 'net and I create forums like they're going out of business. My baby is Lurking Mastermind which has been going for about three years now. It's future is uncertain and I'm thinking of selling. This place, L4DForums, is my latest creation and I think if managed right it will be the most successful.

Erm, I like movies, mainly sci-fi and horror and shit like that. I can't go anywhere without music and I'll listen to most stuff that is not happy hardcore or trance/dance crap. I read an awful lot. Books are cool.

And when I grow up I want to be a fighter pilot.

Hey I'm Jake. I'm 15 and live in The Big Apple. That would be New York City. I've got two thumbs, I'm addicted to Family Guy, No urge for flesh or blood but zombies are awesome. I also like star wars and really all science fiction. I too think books are cool! When I grow up I would love to become a writer of some sort. L4D looks great! See ya!

Hi, I'm Calum, I'm gay, fat and live in Las Vegas. Left 4 Dead is one of the games I'm looking forward to getting in the future, however I don't have good enough PC or a 360 yet. I think I'm gonna end up buying a 360 to play L4D but I haven't decided yet. I was invited to this forum by someone called Alan who commented on my blog.

Thanks, actually I'm not that interesting, being neither gay or fat, and not actually residing in Las Vegas. It was in fact all a lie. I live in Wales. It's slightly more wet than Las Vegas.

It happens around the age of 10-20 and involves lots of hormones making you think about chicks/guys (depending on gender and orientation) almost non-stop.

Aww, having a fat gay man from Las Vegas on the forum would have been awesome!

So, Wales is pretty well the opposite of Las Vegas... Does that mean you are skinny and straight (those being opposites of fat and gay)?
